Outside the Valley was created to share founder-centric stories and shed real, raw insight into the journeys we all are taking to change the world. Our content will be produced around feature films we’re developing and engaging episodic shows. The stories will have impact, meaning, and significance for company builders as well as those who seek inspiration, and those who are just learning about what role they want to play in business.

We’re founders too!. We’ve both built companies and realized we need better resources and a real way to  help others on their paths to building something great..Big picture? Well, it’s a big picture. We’re currently in post-production on a feature film that takes an in-depth look at start-up ecosystems in 4 countries you might not first think of when you think of startups. While you wait, we’re also going to kick out weekly posts of bite-sized content and regularly released conversations,– innovative and creative discussions with fellow founders, industry experts, and thought leaders from around the globe. 

We want to watch great documentaries and go deep into the world that inspires us all and educates on how groundbreaking companies are formed.  

We connect, educate, and share stories from all corners (er… or curves) of the globe. Our mission is to find answers and inspiration that founders and future-founders are craving; to create a place where we feel celebrated. We’re going inside of the world of founders, angel investors, venture capitalists, and ecosystem builders for real talk and experiences that translate into helpful, and hopefully at times, entertaining discussions informing decisions or aiding in connecting to this global community.

Outside the Valley is powered by our production company, Churro Media. We’ve got more things cooking under our larger umbrella. We’re building a media company and a new kind of a community that celebrates and supports founders everywhere.. We look to the future from a world perspective because we’re not the only ones out here. We know that our company, full of opportunity and driven with purpose, can elevate, connect, and amplify others. We’re all outsiders when we begin and our work seeks to uplift and improve people’s experiences through feature films and entertainment, an investment, a contribution to a social cause – the sky’s the limit. We know we can move forward and lift up others all while creating social good and generating positive impact where it matters.
